L’OREAL RECOGNIZES WOMEN IN SCIENCE

A Californian scientist has been awarded with a prestigious global science award in Paris, France. Professor Jennifer Doudna from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of California in Berkeley was awarded the 2016 L’Oreal-UNESCO Laureate for her groundbreaking work on DNA editing that could one day help treat or even prevent diseases.
